We have decided to close our submissions for a short while in order to catch up with the stories we have received.
We are hoping that by the time we reopen we will be able to cut down the response time to a short 3 months!
Last week we announced that the submissions will be closing and implored all children’s writers out there to get their acts together and submit their manuscripts. It worked, because we received a month’s worth of submissions in just one week!
That’s right a whole MONTH in just one WEEK.
Thank you to everyone who submitted and well done for getting your manuscripts finished and polished in such a short space of time. We’re really happy that so many of you want to be published with Maverick and we hope that we can make some dreams come true soon.
In the meantime, we’ll be reading. A lot!
