Maverick authors out in force at local schools for World Book Day week!

Maverick authors Alice Hemming (author of junior fiction title Rickety Rocket and whose forthcoming junior fiction title Arlo, Mrs Ogg and the Dinosaur Zoo has been selected for the 2018 Summer Reading Challenge), Lou Treleaven (author of forthcoming junior fiction title Homework on Pluto, sequel to Letter to Pluto and of recent picture books Daddy and I and The Snugglewump), Heather Pindar (author of picture book Beware the Mighty Bitey, selected for the 2018 Summer Reading Challenge, and Wishker), and Amanda Brandon (author of the Granny Mutton Yarn series –A Scarf and a Half, A Box of Socks and A Knit and a Knot, the first two of which are also Orange band Early Readers) have a very busy schedule of school visits during World Book Day week starting on the 26th of February and including World Book Day on Thursday the 1st of March, through to Friday the 2nd March.

Join them for readings, storytelling and craft activities and celebrate the joy of children’s books!
