First fantastic review for our early readers!

We’ve had our first amazing review for our brand new set of early readers which come out this Friday. Jessica, at handy mummy tumblr, is both a parent and a teacher so we really trust her expertise when she says that our early readers great!

handy mummy early reader review

We really enjoyed the stories and started to talk about some things in reading and writing such as rhyme and letter sounds.
We also discussed the questions at the back. It is great to have these included as many parents would not be able to think of questions to ask on the spot an children need these skills to help develop their comprehension.

From a teacher’s point of view I really like them as they have been colour banded and each includes the questions of differing abilities that I previously mentioned.

There are also free (yes free!) activity packs that go with each text. These include features such as possible learning objectives, sounds covered and questions about the text. They also tell you the cross curricular topics that could be covered.

I found this set of books great as both a parent and a teacher. Great resources, lovable characters and feel good stories. Perfect for helping children develop the skills they need to become solid readers.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first review for our early readers!
