Enough Posters for Queen Fluff!

What a glorious sight to be seen in the window of Waterstones Warrington….Queen Fluff would thoroughly approve!  All in preparation for Rachel Lyon’s event on the 3rd July (have a look on our calendar page for more details). Of course Mucky (I Wish I’d Been Born a Unicorn) and the Childe (Childe of Hale) have also made an appearance.  Set to be a fantastic event!

Dinosaur Day Success!

Image from Telegraph & Argus  Steve Howson, author of Hocus Pocus Diplodocus, was joined by fellow dinosaur enthusiast, Louise Aaron, author of  Jamasaurus, to host a memorable Dinosaur Day with Bradford Libraries. Lollipop puppets and sing-a-longs with Tracy Gunaratnam!

Last week, Tracy Gunaratnam joined Ashburton Library for their regular Book Buddies session and read her charming story, Preposterous Rhinoceros. The children joined Tracy for jungle sing-a-long and then made Preposterous Rhinoceros badges and lollipop puppets! Tracy will be at Croydon Library for National Storytelling Week in February 2016. Not Without my Whale author helps open brand new library

Billy Coughlan, author of Not Without my Whale, joined the celebrations at Hamford Primary Academy and helped open their brand new children’s library. She joined Christopher William Hill, author of the Tales from Schwartzgarden series, to open the library last Friday.   They entertained the children with extracts from their stories and tales of writing and then cut the ribbon, officially opening the library.
