Hello everyone!

I thought it was about time that I wrote a blog.  I’m Please Bear and Please Bear’s Birthday (the new Nice Bear Naughty Bear story) is all about my birthday party.

I love birthday parties because you see all your friends and you can play party games.  My favourite is pass the parcel, particularly if there are forfeits hidden in the wrapping – like having to stand on one leg for a whole minute or running around the garden five times!

I can’t wait for the next bear’s birthday…!

It was my time to shine yesterday; we were all invited along to the Maverick Book Launch.  It was an extra special lunch for the new authors.    It was also the first time that anyone had seen the new books!  It was soooooo exciting!

I’ve learnt that table manners are very important when going to posh parties.  You need to be careful not to eat with your open or talk while eating or put your elbows on the table!  So many things to remember…But when you do it just makes everything lovely!  Greedy bear was not quite so well behaved – it was a horrid sight!

The bears are back!  Our first book Nice Bear Naughty Bear sold out on its first print run after becoming the Daily Mail’s You Magazine, Book of the Week.  So all the nice and naughty bears got together and had a really big think…Now how could we be in a new book.  Well Please Bear had this fantastic idea.  He has just had his birthday party and it was so much fun that he wanted to share it with everyone.  So Please Bear’s Birthday is all about…Please Bear’s Birthday!  There are some of the bears you know and some new ones all behaving nicely or naughtily at the party!

Hello everyone

It’s me Sharing Bear again!  Because of the extra special event that’s coming up (if you haven’t heard then I am of course talking about the Teddy Bears’ Picnic). Teacher Bear has said I can do another blog and share our exciting news!

BREAKING NEWS:  Our Nice Bear Naughty Bear illustrator, Mary Ann Mackenzie is going to be on Radio Oxford on Saturday morning (7 – 9am), talking about the book and the picnic.  Tune in!

I’m looking forward to dressing up and meeting lots of new bears!

Hello everyone!  My name is Kind Bear and I’ve been looking forward to doing my own blog.  Teacher Bear wanted me to tell everyone about our raffle in this blog.  So here goes…

At our Teddy Bears’ Picnic (8^th May in Oxford) we are holding a raffle for Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Fund.  All proceeds will be going to this very good cause.  The main prize is a handmade Teddy Bear and runner up prizes are signed copies of Nice Bear Naughty Bear.  If you would like to buy some tickets you only have a week left, however you can email about them at nicebear@maverickbooks.co.uk or contact us here.

Not long now…Our class is soooooo excited about the event.  It is going to be lots of fun.

Have you heard!  There’s going to be a Teddy Bears’ Picnic!!!!!  I am so excited – I love picnics and there are going to be so many bears’ there that I can make friends with.  They’ll be nice bears and naughty bears….

Hello everyone – I’m Thank You Bear from Nice Bear Naughty Bear and I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to read my blog.

We all did really well in the scary tests that we did last month. Our teacher helped us lots and spent so much time making sure we all knew what we were doing. So today I brought her in a bunch of flowers that I had picked from my garden (my mum said I could) as a way to say thank you. She was really pleased and has put them in a vase on her desk. She said that as her own thank you she would let me write the blog today.

What a lovely treat.

It is nice to say thank you to everyone.

Hello everyone! My name is Sharing Bear, from Nice Bear Naughty Bear and it’s my turn to do a blog this week.

I was really excited yesterday, because I knew that my mummy had packed a very special lunch box for me. When lunchtime came I opened my box and found that I had lots of little sandwiches with all my favourite fillings. My best friend, Thank you Bear came in really upset – she had forgotten her lunch! So I said to her that she could share mine. She was very grateful, but I know she would do exactly the same for me. I told my mummy when I got home and she said to me I was such a nice bear. It made me very happy.

Merry Christmas! I am Helpful Bear – it’s my turn now to write a blog and I’m very lucky to be writing a blog for Christmas Day!

I love Christmas and I really enjoy helping to get everything ready. We spent a long time putting up all our Christmas decorations at the beginning of December – all my family joined in, which made it lots of fun!

Yesterday, I helped Mummy Bear to make mince pies – when we had finished we had some pastry left so she let me make pastry shapes! We’re going to have these after Christmas dinner!
