The Dogs of Rock book is gonna be in the papers. In the Telegraph – a bit of promo for the band and for the book.
I’m sure the guys at Maverick will post up the article when it hits the press.
And I bet you’re wondering what we’ve been doing since the end of the tour? Well we were dog tired (excuse the pun!) so we’ve been lazying around having a break to work on new songs and come up with a new tune.
But we’re now back on the road…
8th Gig – O2 London
So we’ve reached our grand finale…The end of our tour. We’ve done a full circle around England – we’ve battled through rain and snow etc etc etc. You get the picture.
So where better to have our final gig of the tour than the O2 aka the Millennium dome. It is a massive venue with a truly individual feel. The tickets sold out within minutes of them coming online. So we knew it was going to be busy.
We had a support band warm up the crowd, keeping them waiting (but not too long) and then in a cloud of smoke Dogs of Rock stepped forward to the roar of the crowd.
The rest of course…is history!

7th Gig – O2 Academy Birmingham
Dogs of Rock are travelling south again now, on the road with our tour bus. We’ve done loads of miles recently (including our quick trip down to Koob beach!), it’s a good job that our tour bus is top notch.
Anyways the gig was fantastic; the O2 Academy is a must for any type of music fan. We rocked until 1am and then crashed out on sofas.
We’ve decided though that we’re gonna treat ourselves to a night out, escape from the leash so to speak. So tonight we’re staying in Birmingham. Gonna go and explore the city…check out some of the nightlife.

3rd Gig – Norwich Waterfront
To the UEA for some serious back to school rock. This week, the Waterfront, Norwich, with head banging students braving arctic conditions to get here.
There is nothing like students when you wanna party and get lost on the music.

We had some seriously immense moments. Imagine complete darkness…then suddenly a drum with a slow beat, building up with a base joinin’ in. Then finally –BAM- lights on and the Dogs of Rock, centre stage. Blinded by the lights we let our fingers do the strumming and could just hear the throb of the cheering crowd. The best music ever!

It’s the 1st of January 2010! A new year with new songs and a NEW TOUR!
1st Gig of the Tour – London – Battersea Power Station (New Year’s Eve till now!)
One word: WOAH!
If ever a place was made for rock it was Battersea – amazing venue.
We would have blown the roof off, if it didn’t already have no roof!
We played from eight till eight, exhausting stuff! We got caught up in the moment, counting down the New Year with a guitar solo that reached a crescendo as the clocks struck twelve – Fireworks exploded on the final chime, lighting the London sky…a truly amazing night!

Our gig in London was intense – fans were literally falling at our paws. A brilliant start to Christmas!
Now, we’ve come up with totally awesome plan for Dogs of Rock! We are going to do a tour and keep you blog-readers one step ahead of the game, with an update on our progress around the country…we’re thinking of calling it “Backstage Blogging” – what d’ya think?
We’ll start in the New Year and carry on through February, when we will be introducing our book (Dogs of Rock) to the formula. It’s going to be immense!
It’s still in the planning stage – so watch this space pups!

Just squeezin’ in a blog before our concert. We’re sitting in our car with our WIFI, chillin’ before the rockin’ begins. The Maverick gang has asked us (their most famous celebs!) to write a blog for their website. Of course at first we weren’t sure but then our PR guys at Midas told us that it would be a good idea – now you guys out there can read about us!
